Most recently updated on Thursday, December 19, 2008
Well, I had a little free time during the current snow storm, so here’s an update on my current projects.

We are on hiatus for December for “Fiddler on the Roof”, which I am directing at Redeemer University College. The cast has been rehearsing hard during the Fall, but when we return to it in January, we will hit the ground running. We will be on set in early to mid January, and then the tech, orchestra and all the rest starts happening.

This is Redeemer’s first musical, so I think expectations are running high, as far as the expected quality goes. I am very privileged to be a part of this hallmark production. Apparently, tickets are selling like they never have before.

Performance dates are February 5-7.

I have just begun rehearsals for the K-W Youth Theatre’s production of “The Tempest”, and I have a very excited and vibrant cast of students between ages 13-19. Some roles have been double cast, and some women are playing men’s roles (why not?). We are early into rehearsals, and still determining some of our final casting choices.

Performance dates are March 3-5, at The Registry Theatre.

I have just announced the Senior Play for Rockway Mennonite Collegiate for 2009…”The Importance of Being Earnest”. Auditions are slated for January when we return from our Christmas break. I’m looking forward to directing this show.

Performance dates are May 8 and 9.
